RMAT Exam 2014 - Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test also known as RMAT Exam is conducted by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) every year in the month of June . RMAT is only valid for admission to various management programmes of unaided/private institutions and aided/government institutions of Rajasthan whose list has been provided below.
RMAT Exam Eligibility
Aspiring candidates having a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST and OBC candidates) in graduation are eligible to take this Aptitude Test for MBA.
Students appearing for their final year examination are also eligible to apply but admission is confirmed subjecting to fulfilling the required qualification for exam with required percentage within time limit as prescribed in the information broucher.
Note: RMAT Examination is open for Rajasthan domicile students only.
The domicile conditions are as follows
Category A: The candidate himself/herself or any of his/her natural parents (father/mother) is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. OR
Category B: Candidate has studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educational institutions in Rajasthan for the preceding five years up to and including the year in which he/she has passed the qualifying examination. OR
Category C: Candidate is a son/daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of any of the following:-
Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service in the State cadre of Rajasthan).
Undertaking/corporation/Improvement Trust/ Municipal Boards/ Panchayat Samities/ Co-operative/Autonomous Bodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan.
Statutory Bodies and Corporations formed under the India Companies Act., incorporated in Rajasthan. OR
Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of any of the following:
Universities/Govt aided or autonomous engineering colleges in Rajasthan or Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, who has put in at least three years service on the date of submission of application in any of the above bodies. (Certificate 2 (iv)
Central Government or Institutions of the Central Government including Public Sector Undertaking or Corporation and who is on the regular rolls and is serving in the State of Rajasthan on the date of submission of application. (Certificate 2 (v)
Rajasthan origin, service in Defense/Central Government Service/ Public Sector undertaking/National Institutes of Government of India, who has put in at least three years service on the last date for submission of application irrespective of his/her place of posting provided a certificate is submitted by the employee from the employer to this effect stating the State of origin and the home town as given by him/her at the time of his/her entry of service.
Note : Children of Ex-Servicemen (Ex-S) and the Defence Killed (DK) persons of Rajasthan origin are eligible to apply in these categories. The State of origin and hometown as entered in the discharge certificate is only accepted as proof in respect of the above.
For wards of defense personnel from other states but serving in the state of Rajasthan, the domicile condition is waived off to enable them to appear in the entrance test and be selected in general quota. However, they are not eligible for the Ex-S/DK category.

RMAT Entrance Exam Pattern
The RMAT Entrance Exam will consist of 200 multiple choice questions with 4 alternative answers. The correct choice of answer is to be filled in the OMR sheet using Black Ball Point Pen. Duration of the test will be 150 minutes.
1. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. 2. The Medium of RMAT will be English only.
How to apply for RMAT Entrance Exam process?
A candidate can apply for RMAT entrance exam process by submitting complete RMAT Application Form duly filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting through any one of the following modes so as to reach the RMAT office at:-
In any case, the Application Form should not be handed over to any person. No other institute/agency is authorized to collect the form on behalf of RMAT.
Note:Forms sent through courier shall not be accepted.
Admit Card for RMAT
Admission Card for RMAT will be sent to the candidate at his/her address as mentioned in RMAT Application Form. The Coordinator RMAT reserve the right to withdraw the permission granted by mistake to a candidate who is not eligible to appear in RMAT even though the admission Card has been issued and produced by the candidate before the Centre Superintendent of RMAT.
In case the admission card is not received by the candidate till the stipulated date, the candidate may contact the coordinator RMAT immediately by fax giving his/her RMAT form no., mailing address and test centre requested.
Such candidates are advised to bring two passport size photographs (same as pasted on application form) at the time of examination along with the photocopy of application form and photo identity card such as driving license, voter card etc.
RMAT Entrance Exam Fee
The total cost of RMAT Application Form (available at PNB Bank branches) is Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand Only) that includes RMAT examination fees.
Note: This amount is neither refundable nor transferable / adjustable for future RMAT in any case.
RMAT Management Programme Selection Process
Selection for the various management programme will be based on the performance of the candidate in RMAT, academic achievements, GD and personal interview.
