Educational Qualification

  • For the lowest grades in these categories, the prescribed qualification is generally matriculation, and
  • For some posts like Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Assistant Station Master, Clerk Grade I, Guards, etc., the prescribed qualification is a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University.

Age Limits

  • The aspiring candidates should be between 18 years to 27 years of age.

Mathematics

Questions on General English are designed to test the candidate's correct usage of prepositions, words and phrases, comprehension, the transformation of simple sentences, punctuation, tenses, and parts of speech.

Questions on Mathematics are designed to test accuracy and rapidity.

General Knowledge

General Intelligence

Candidates are expected to possess a broad knowledge of current events and matters of general interest, particularly related to India, including Indian Railways.

Who's Who, Sports, Entertainment, Indian History and Geography, Discoveries and Inventions, Elementary Knowledge of Computers?

 

RRB Non-Technical Popular Category Exam 2024 Pattern

  • The question paper will be bilingual, consisting of objective questions in the above-given parts.
  • The recruitment process shall involve 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/ Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable), and Document Verification/ Medical Examination.
  • Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of recruitment stages.
