UTU CLAT - Uttarakhand Technical University Common Law Entrance Test

UTU CLAT 2013 – Uttrakhand Technical University Common Admission Test  acronym as UTU CLAT is conducted on National level for Providing admission to 5 years integrated courses – BA.LLB and BB.A.LL.B – and 3 years LL.B Courses in the affiliated colleges of the Uttarakhand Techincal University.

UTU CLAT Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

The aspiring candidate should be at least 10+2 with not less than 45% (40% marks for SC/ST) for 5 years Law Course.

Graduate or Post Graduate with not less than 45% (40% marks for SC/ST) for 3 years LL.B Course.

However candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April of the respective appear are also eligible to apply.

Note: Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.

Age:

No more than 20 years (22 years for SC/ST) for 5 years Law Courses and 30 years (35 years for SC/ST) on 1^st July of  respective year of admission.

UTU CLAT Syllabus

UTU CLAT consists of questions from the following given topics.

1. English language
2. General knowledge
3. Basic mathematics and
4. Legal and logical reasoning.

How to apply for UTU CLAT?

Interested candidates can get the application form from the UTU websites www.uktech.ac.in/law or can obtain from the office of Registrar Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.

The filling in application form can be submitted online at university website and payment of fee of Rs.1500 for General and OBC and Rs.1000 for SC/ST can also be made online. Hard copy of  the application form with documents and demand draft be also sent by registered post to:
