XIMB - Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar Entrance Exam
XIMB 2012 - Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar Entrance Exam is considered to be one of the most popular National levels Admission/Entrance Test among the MBA aspirants all over India conducted by Xavier Labour Research Institute, Jamshedpur (XLRI). XAT score are also used by more than 60 other premier institutes of Management including XIMB for Admission to their various courses.
XIMB Eligibility
Three-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
XIMB syllabus
There are three sections (with an essay after the sections) in the XAT exams as given below:-
- Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability
- Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Data Interpretation
- General Awareness Questions
XIMB Exam pattern
XAT is an objective type test with multiple-choice answers. The test is designed to measure a person’s general aptitudes as the following table indicates:

Essay Topic: Students are expected to write an essay of about 250-300 words in 20 minutes.

XIMB Registration
Interested candidates have to apply online for XIMB programme at : www.ximb.ac.in Upon successfully filling the online application form, the Payment Advice Form can be downloaded.
The applicant must take a printout of the same payment advice form and mail it to the Admissions Office, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar - 751013, accompanied by the application fee (non-refundable) in one of the following ways :
Money Receipt issued by IMS/ Career Launcher/ T.I.M.E. coaching centres, after paying Rs.1000 in cash; OR
Original Bank Pay-in-slip Counterfoil, after depositing Rs.1000 (in cash) at any State Bank of India core branch in the Current A/c No. 30834687536 of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar; OR
A Demand Draft for Rs.1000 made out in favour of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
