About ACT College of Engineering and Technology

ACT College of Engineering and Technology was set up by ACT Educational Trust in 2008.  It is spread over a land area of 10.30 acres. The courses offered by the College come under the approval of AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Facilities

Hostels - There are separate Hostels for boys and girls. Accommodation is comfortable and homely. They have modernized kitchen and spacious dining halls Food is wholesome. There is 152 number of seats in Boys Hostel and 130 number of seats in Girls Hostel.

Library - The Library has more than 7000 titles in the College representing several branches of knowledge. Texts, reference materials, educational encyclopaedia, year books, journals in pedagogy, maps models, audio and video cassettes and other electronic study materials and software are available to students on free access. It has a seating capacity of 64 in the Reading room. The Library has subscribed to 81 Journals.

Computer Centre - The Centre has 30 PIV or higher PC's and all are connected through LAN. The Campus has Wi Fi Connectivity and provides Internet Connectivity at 2mbps speed.

Laboratories - The Institution has well equipped 11 Laboratories which meet the National standards.

Classrooms - There are about 10 Classrooms in the College.

Tutorial Room - These number up to 5.

Seminar Room - There is a Seminar Room meant for organising various events.

Conference Room - There is a single Conference Room.

Teaching Tools/Aids

These are:

• 3 Number of LCDs.

Health Centre - The Institute has one Medical Centre.
