About Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering and Management

Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering and Management was established in 2003. The Institute is governed by a Board of Governors consisting of eminent personalities and Educationists. The Institute conducts courses in different branches of Engineering, at the Undergraduate Level. In addition to this, Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering & Management is also offering Undergraduate Level course in Business Administration and Computer Applications. It is named after the great Mathematician 'Aryabhatta'. The Institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology.

Facilities

Library - The Institute Library has a collection of 12,000 Books and 1250 Titles. It is fully Computerised with Libsys. The Library has a Book Bank with lending facility of 5 books per Semester for students.

Hostels - The Institute has separate Hostel facility for boys and girls.

Fees Waiver - There is a Waiver of 100% Tuition fees for first two students securing positions within 3000 ranks with WBJEE (for first year). Same may be extended to 2nd, 3rd year and 4th year for individual College Toppers in the WBUT Semesters (YGPA) in every discipline. 5% Free Scholarship for SC and ST and other financial backward candidate.

Gymnasium - Separate Gymnasiums for boys and girls is available in the Institute.

Training and Placement Cell - The Cell continuously coordinated with the various industries and organizations for Placement of the students. The Cell organises certain Orientation Programmes, Grooming Sessions, Mock Interviews for students of each stream. It also organises Summer Internship Programmes for students to provide them with hands-on-experience and introducing them to the professional environment. Some of the previous Employers are Microsoft, IBM, Honeywell, Accenture, TCE, HCL etc.
