About Hindustan Bible Institute - HBI

Hindustan Bible Institute & College (Known as HBI). HBI was established in 1952 in Chennai (Madras) by Dr. Paul V. Gupta. He was moved by the need for the lost and surrendered his life to reach the people of India for Christ. To fulfill this purpose, God called him to multiply himself with a deep conviction of “Teach one Indian to reach another Indian for Christ”. Dr. Gupta incorporated into his strategy a training program to equip and mobilize men and women to take the Word of God to the unreached peoples of India.
