Embroidery & Needle Work is a hand/machine working vocational trade. The duration of trade is one year with two semesters of six months each. During the course, students are introduced to various aspects of it such as applying a range of traditional stitching techniques to produce intricate designs on clothing, accessories, home decor items; combine traditional sewing skills with current software programs to design and construct embellishments on an item. Needle-work is a term for the handicrafts of decorative sewing and textile arts taught in this trade. The trade is an important and career orienting in nature that offers many opportunities after its success passing.

 

Embroidery & Needle Work Trade Eligibility

  • Students should be passed in 8th/10th class examination from a recognized school board in the country.

Embroidery & Needle Work Trade Required Skills

  • Students should be hard worker as while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
  • Candidates should be quick in working as they have to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • They also required a capacity to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

 

How is Embroidery & Needle Work Trade Beneficial?
