Lift and Escalator Mechanic

Lift and Escalator Mechanic is a lift mechanical vocational trade. The duration of the trade is two years with four semesters of six months each. Trade course comprises topics like installing and repairing escalators, chairlifts, elevators and other electronic transport equipment; performing preventative maintenance on elevators and other equipment and keeping service records and emergency repairs. It is a mechanical trade needs physical work as they have to repair and maintain it. Trade is job orienting in character and opens many areas for work after its completion.

 

Lift and Escalator Mechanic Trade Eligibility

  • Students should be passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognised school Board in the country.
