Plumber is a mechanical repairing and installing vocational trade. The duration of trade is one year with two semesters of six months each. Trade comprises some of the topics like installing or maintaining heating systems; repairing sanitation systems; fitting domestic appliances; installing air-conditioning units; fitting bathrooms and emergency repairs. There are many ITIs in the country offering this trade because of its work offering nature after its passing.

 

Plumber Trade Eligibility

  • The minimum educational qualification is 10th class pass and in case some of them are 10th class failed, they can also get admission.

Plumber Trade ITIs

 

Plumber Trade Required Skills

  • Students should have good physic as they have to hold the arm and hand steady when supporting a tool or piece of pipe, the ability to use the fingers to manipulate small objects and the ability to coordinate movements of both hands.
  • They should be good listeners and able to make decisions in a timely manner while using good judgment.
  • They should also possess a grasp of basic mathematics; knowledge of geometry and algebra is also helpful during work.

 

How is Plumber Trade Beneficial?

  • After passing trade, they can work for different areas such as heating and ventilation, refrigeration and air-conditioning, gas servicing and kitchen and bathroom fitting.
  • They have so many job opportunities in construction industry as there is a lot of plumbing work there.
  • Other benefit is they can become plumber contractor after working many years in this profession or obtaining permanent license from Public Health Department.
