Career in Arts, Entertainment and Media

Last half a century  or so has seen a lot of development not only in the field of science and technology but also human resources throughout the world whether they are developed Western countries or developing countries of Asia and Africa  like India, China etc. These advancements along with globalization of the entire society of the world have brought changes in the living standards of the people throughout the globe thereby changing the pattern of living style of the people. This globalization of the society and liberalization of the economy has opened many news avenues of career and employment. People have now started looking beyond the conventional career options. Talented young generation can make his career in  the field Film editing, directing, and producing as cartoonist., as TV anchors ,as documentary film makers, as Sound engineer, as screenplay writers, as Market Research analyst, as Voice-over artists, as Video Jockey (VJ), as video editors, media planners,  content writers , Marketing researcher , Copywriting, Cinematographers etc to name a few of them.

Media has always been an influential industry as it is directly connected with the mass audience. The main work of Media industry is to provide information and generate public opinion. Today, the definition of media has changed entirely as  now it include many sub forms like Broadcasting with the help of TV and radio, Entertainment with use of audio visual-films and videos, internet that includes blogs, forums, music, news, then Publishing of Books, papers, magazines, and it also handles postal mail, telephony and other interactive Media. The media has various purposes like providing entertainment, education, Advocacy among others. Thus the scope of a Career in both form of media - print and electronic media - industry is beyond imagination now. With so many fields Media provides a lot of career options to young budding talent of the country.
