In this residential course of one-month duration, Yoga Pravesh, Yoga Parichaya, Yoga Pravesh teacher, Yoga Pravesh Examiner and organising of Yoga classes are the subjects taught.

Yoga Adhyapaka (Diploma in Yoga Education)
After getting teacher certificate one has to pass 'Yoga Pravina' and 'Yoga Parichaya Teacher' courses. This also is a residential one-month duration course.

Yoga Pradhyapaka (Bachelor in Yoga Education)
Having undergone three sessions of Yoga Pandita and training of Teacher for Praveen classes a student is awarded the degree of Yoga Pradhyapak (B.Y.Ed.)

B.Ed. (Yoga): Specialized one year course in yoga

Educational Qualification
To become a Yoga Teacher the minimum qualification required is Bachelors degree in Yoga i.e B.Ed. (yoga) with 60% marks (for some institute of repute).

How to become a Yoga Teacher?

Aspiring candidates have to follow below given steps to become yoga teacher:

Step 1
After completing +2 preferably with yoga as one of the subjects the aspiring candidates can go for a Bachelors degree in yoga like BA (Yoga) or B.Sc(Yoga). Candidates may have to take an entrance test to join this course if some of the reputed institutes.  However one can also join any bachelor's degree to make a career in Yoga followed by certain Certificate or Diploma courses in Yoga.

Step 2
After completing Bachelor's degree in yoga or any other related stream aspiring candidates can go for B.Ed (Yoga) course or Master's degree in Yoga i.e MA(Yoga) to get in-depth knowledge of the field. With Bachelor's degree in Education in Yoga, one can go for a job in some educational institution as a yoga teacher or may pursue higher education in this field.
