Ayush and Health Science University (AHSU), Chhattisgarh is a State University specialising in medical education. It was established in 2009 as a Constituent College of University of Chhattisgarh. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in healthcare. Chhattisgarh has a very poor doctor-people ratio in both general and dental services. To enhance the health education sector, the state government established the university. It is also known as Chhattisgarh Ayush and Health Science University or Chhattisgarh Health and Medical Sciences University or Chhattisgarh Ayush abum Swasthya Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya in Hindi Language.
