About Bastar University

Bastar University is a premier institution of post graduate teaching and research. It was established by an Act of 02-Sept. 2008, an Act to amendment the Chhattisgarh Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam 1973 (no. 22 of 1973) as a state University. It is wholly financed by the State Government of Chhattisgarh. The university has well equipped airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities. There is a well maintained library with wide range of books collection and journals in the University.

Bastar University Facilities

Hostel Facilities - The University provides Hostel facility separately for boys and girls, with various kinds of facilities, such as Mess, Play Ground and 24 hour electricity facility etc.

Library Facilities - The University has well equipped library and there is a lot of books for each and every branch of student in the library. Library is fully furnished and computerized.

Sports’ Facilities - The University conducts sport events every year on national basis to take part for student from all over India.
