Selection Criteria

• An applicant will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of his/her score in the entrance examination; the final selection for admission in PhD will be based on the performance in the interview. 

• Exemption from Entrance Test: Applicants who qualify UGC (NET / JRF) / CSIR (NET / JRF) / ICAR (JRF / SRF) Examination / SLET / GATE / GPAT / ICAR or hold Teacher Fellowship are exempted from PhD entrance test. 

Application Form Guidelines for filling the Application Form. 

• Applicant Registration Details
• Applicant should fill the personal information. It is mandatory to provide valid email id; applicant Name, Date of Birth and email id cannot be changed; hence provide correct information; immediately on filling up of the information, an application number will be sent to your mail id.
• Applicants are requested to note down the application number; all the future correspondence will be made on the application number only.
• Already Registered User Login
• If the applicant has already filled the details in Step-1(a) , then applicant can login here using Application Number and Date of Birth. 

Payment Details

Select the appropriate mode of payment as Online Payment or Demand Draft mode. 

Option-I

• Steps to be followed, if the application fee is paid through Online Payment gateway; applicant should have Internet Banking facility through Net banking and when prompted for payment, select the appropriate Internet banking facility and follow the stepwise instructions to make payment of Rs.500/-. 

Option-II

• Steps to be followed, if the application fee is paid through DD; take a printout (Laser or inkjet only) of the completed application on a good quality A4 size paper; enclose a DD for either Rs.500/- drawn in favour of Lovely Professional University Payable at Jalandhar. 

• Applicant should write “Application for Written Test & Interview (For PhD)”, his/her Name & Mobile No. on the backside of the DD.
