Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology – CIHM applications are invited for admission to diploma programmes - 2018-19

Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology – CIHM Applications along with self-attested copies of certificates are invited for admission to the following Trade Diploma Courses of one and a half year duration.

• Food Production                       70 Seats
• Bakery and Confectionery   30 Seats
• Front Office Operations       35 Seats
• Food and Beverage Service  70 Seats
• House Keeping Operations   35 Seats

15% seats are reserved for SC and 7.5% for ST and 5% for PH Candidates

Eligibility Conditions

• The Minimum Qualification for admission is 10+2 with English Pass
• Age limit up to 25 years for General and PH Candidates and 28 years for SC/ST/ Candidates as on 1^st July 2018

Admission Process

The admission will be on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination.  The merit list will be displayed  on the Institute Notice Board on 13^th Jul, 2018 on the basis of 10+2 marks and also will be available on the Website www.cihmct.com. The counselling of the candidates for allotment of seats  will be held as per the following schedule:-

• 17.07.2018– 1 to 100 rank.                                            -9.30 am onwards
• 18.07.2018– 101 to  200 rank                                        -9.30 am onwards
• 19.07.2018– 201 rank onwards                                      -9.30 am onwards

In case of selection, fee will have to be deposited on the spot, failing which seats will be given to the candidates next on the merit list.  The second counselling to fill up the vacant seats, if any, will be held on 26^th July 2018.

Scholarships

• Merit-cum-Means Scholarships are available. Details are available in the office.

How to Apply?

• Prospectus containing application form and other details is available on payment of Rs.250/- at the Institute counter and through book post by sending Bank  Draft of   Rs.300/- in the name of Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management payable at Chandigarh stating complete postal address in capital letters on the back of the draft.
• Application Forms can also be downloaded from the Institute website www.cihmct.com.    Candidate must attach a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- along with the downloaded application, failing which their candidature will not be considered.
