Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has invited applications for admission to various UG, PG, Diploma, and Ph.D. courses for 2021.

The courses are:

Under-Graduate Courses

B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.Tech (Biotechnology), B.Tech (Food Technology), and B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture (2+4 years), at Institute of Agriculture, Bathinda, and Gurdaspur.

Post-graduate Courses

Agricultural Meteorology, Agronomy, Entomology, Extension Education, Food Technology, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Plant Pathology, Soil Science and Biotechnology.

Ph.D. Courses

Agricultural Meteorology, Agronomy, Biotechnology, Entomology, Extension Education, Food Technology, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Plant Pathology & Soil Science.

Diploma Courses

Diploma Course in Agriculture 2-year at PAU, Ludhiana,
Diploma in Agriculture 2-year at Dr. D R Bhumbla Regional Research Station, Ballowal Saunkhri,
Diploma in Agriculture 2-year at Regional Research Station, Faridkot, and
Diploma in Hybrid Seed Production Technology (2 Semester)

Eligibility Conditions

For B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture- 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture with at least 50% marks in aggregate/Two-year Diploma in Agriculture.
For B.Tech (Biotechnology)- 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
For B.Tech (Food Technology)- 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture with at least 50% marks in aggregate/ Certificate course in Food Processing and Preservation from SLIET, Longowal
For B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture 2+4 years at Institute of Agriculture, Bathinda, and Gurdaspur- Matriculation or equivalent with at least 65% marks in aggregate with Maths and Science as one of the main subjects
For Masters’ programs- 60% marks or equivalent at the graduation level.
For Ph.D. Programs- 70% marks or equivalent at Master’s level and 55% marks or equivalent at Bachelor’s level
For Diploma Programs- 10+2 or equivalent.
