Tripura University, Agartala Invites Applications for Admission into Master of Pharmacy Program

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) program offered at Department of Pharmacy for 2013-14. 

Eligibility Conditions

• All candidates must have the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a university/institute/college, which is approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) or UGC with 50% marks in four year aggregate (5% relaxation for OBC (with valid non creamy layer certificate)/ST/SC/PH candidates). Candidates whose B.Pharm Results of final year/semester are not yet declared or who are appearing in final year/semester examinations are also eligible to apply. 

How to Apply

• The application forms can be obtained from the academic section in the Administrative Building of Tripura University (Suryamaninagar Campus) on payment of Rs.300 (for general) and Rs.150 (for OBC/ST/SC/PH) through bank challan/bank draft in favor of ‘Finance Officer, Tripura University’, payable at State Bank of India, Tripura University Campus Branch (code 10495), from 15^th May-28^th Jun, 2013.

• The application envelop should be marked as ‘Application for M.Pharm program’. Filled-in application can also be submitted through speed-post. However, university shall not be liable for any postal delay as application received after the specified date will not be considered. 

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates is done on the basis of:

• Tripura University written entrance test: 50%
• Valid GPAT score: 25%
• Viva-voce/personal interview: 25%

• Date of written test: 8^th Jul, 2013 (Monday)
