Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Sambalpur Invites Applications for Admission into Ph.D in Engineering Programs 2015

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into following programme for 2015. 

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Civil Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology (CSE & IT)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electrical Engineering
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EE & EEE)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETC)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mechanical Engineering (ME)
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Production Engineering (PE) 

Eligibility Conditions

• M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc (Engineering) in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate (or 6.5 CGPA) at B.Tech/M.Tech level from an institute/university recognized by AICTE/UGC/central government.
                                         Or
  B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc (Engineering) in relevant discipline with at least 65% marks (or 7.0 CGPA) at B.Tech level from an Institute/University recognized by AICTE/UGC/central government.

• Candidates should d submit a hard copy of the signed completed application along with non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in favour of VSSUT, Burla payable at Syndicate Bank (code - 8062) or SBI, Burla (code - 2034) and send the same by speed post only so as to reach the Dean, Academic & PGS&R, VSSUT, Burla. 

Selection Procedure

• Candidates will be selected on thebasis of overall academic career, written test and interview.
  
  
• The candidates who have qualified GATE/ NET/ inspired fellowship (DST)/ teacher fellowship (UGC) and other fellowships from Govt. agencies are exempted from the written test and they will be given preference in the selection of Ph.D admission.

• Last date for receipt of application: 8^th Dec, 2014.
• Last date of display of short listed candidates: 18^th Dec, 2014.
• Date of the written test & interview: 22^nd Dec, 2014.
