Indian Institute of Fashion & Design (IIFD) is a specialized fashion institute dedicated to Educating students from the year 2004 in the field of Fashion Designing, Fashion & Law, Interior Designing, Textile Design and Beauty courses. IIFD has been setup with a clear mission to develop professional competencies through technical skills, research & development for the benefit of our students in the enticing designer world.

It’s a place where creativity and careers merge. We’re hands-on and industry focused. We’re small enough to know our students’ names, but big enough to have the industry contacts and resources to help them meet their goals.

We don’t just prepare our students for a job; we prepare them for a career. The one of main advantage of our education system would be to involve students in an environment with challenges as well as industry interaction; this experience will help students to gain a long lasting successful career.

Many students come to us who are currently enrolled in fashion design or merchandising/marketing programs. Others come after having entered the marketplace in totally different career paths only to realize their true passion is in the fashion industry.

IIFD acts as a hands-on guide for a professional living textbook of fashion creation, history and marketing; it utilizes the enormous range of assets available

Students are taken beyond the surface glamour and exposed to the day-to-day workings of the industry. IIFD provides the students with a wide range of tools for their education. Students have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment in design room for pattern cutting and draping classes, dyeing labs, printing and weaving labs. LRC Learning Resource Center includes extensive collection of books, journals, audio visual materials and electronic information services.

State of Art Facilities

IIFD is a fully WIFI campus with state of art facilities for the students. At IIFD students will be facilitated with all the necessities required for their learning to excel in their respective field.

Flexible Batch Timing

IIFD understand the value of your time, and offers its student’s flexible batch timing for their respective courses. This helps students to pursue the regular college along with their technical studies.

This gives students an opportunity to earn along with their studies. IIFD Studio is a platform through which students showcase their creativity.

The Expert team at IIFD Studio helps students to nurture their talents into earning. In this Studio IIFD students interact with professional of various Field related to Fashion & Beauty World for example Hair experts, Nail Art experts, Apparel styling experts, cosmetic experts, Fashion Photography experts and many more

How to Apply

 

• One can easily take the Application form and prospectus by paying Rs. 600/- in cash or by sending a demand draft of Rs. 600/- in favor of Indian Institute of Fashion & Design payable at Chandigarh.
• Submission of Application Form
• Student can submit duly filled application form.
• Along-with four passport size photographs.
• Photocopy of the certificates of educational qualifications (secondary school examination / senior secondary school examination certificates for admission in Diploma / undergraduate courses
• Graduate degree of a recognized university certificate for admission in post graduate courses)
• One ID proof is to be submitted.

 

Entrance Test:-

 

• Aptitude Test Round: Aptitude Test will be conducted by the Admission counselor at Indian Institute of Fashion & Design Campus as a case may be, making the students eligible for obtaining scholarship.
• Guidelines and time deadline will be duly provided to the student.
• Personal Interview
• Personal Interview will be conducted for every applicant by the member/s of Management.
• Confirmation of the Admission
• The Selected student has to submit the Admission Fees after duly selection process for the applied course.

 

Fee:-

 

IIFD gives its students an opportunity to choose from 18 different courses including masters, under graduate, advance diploma 2 years, diploma 1 year and certified programs (6 months). The fee varies depending on the nature of the course. Minimum Fee of our institute starts from Rs. 10,000/- onwards.
