B.Tech. (Water Resources Engineering)
Bachelor of Techonology in Water Resources Engineering
| Duration: | 4 Years |
| Level: | Graduation |
| Type: | Degree |
| Eligibility: | 10+2 |
B.Tech. Water Resources Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Water Resources Engineering is an undergraduate Agriculture Engineering course. Water resources engineering is the profession that is responsible for the planning, development and management of water resources. From estimating the amount of water available to designing the physical and non-physical infrastructure needed to meet the water needs of society and the environment, civil engineers play a central role within a multi-disciplinary team. To ensure access to clean safe drinking water, civil engineers design, build and manage the water intakes, the water treatment plants and the network of pipes that convey water to your tap. Water resources engineers are concerned with the problems associated with the use and control of water. They will work to prevent floods, to supply water for cities, industry and irrigation, to treat wastewater, to protect beaches, to manage and reuse storm water, to institute water-sensitive urban design (WSUD) or to manage river systems. They might be involved in the design, construction, or maintenance of storm water harvesting and re-use systems, wastewater treatment systems, desalination systems, dams, pipelines, pumping stations, locks, or seaport facilities. The duration of the course is four years.
B.Tech. Water Resources Engineering Eligibility
- A pass in Plus-two (12th Standard) or its equivalent, with minimum 60% or equivalent CGPA.
