M.D. Anatomy or Doctor of Medicine in Anatomy is a Doctorate Anatomy course. The course provides the basic framework and vocabulary used in all descriptions and communications about the body. Anatomy is the specialized branch of medicine that deals with the structure of the human body. Course includes Gross and Regional Anatomy, Osteology, Arthropology, Myology, Systemic Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Applied and Clinical Anatomy, General & Systemic Embryology, Comparative Embryology, Principles of Genetics, General Histology, Histology of Organs & Structure, Staining Techniques, Outline of Evolution, Comparative Anatomy, Physical Anthropology, Radiological Anatomy, Surface Anatomy, Surface marking of Human Body etc. The duration of the course is two years.
