Jesus and Mary College Certificate Programs

The College offers a few popular job-oriented Certificate Courses. These Courses are optional and do not form part of the university curriculum. The courses which are held after colleges hours enables students to achieve vocational qualifications along with their Under Graduate degree.

The programs offered include:

• Financial Management
• Media studies
• Airlines, Travel Agent and Airport handling
• Course on Entrepreneurship
• Corporate Communication and Public Relations
• Interior designing

Admission to the above programs are conducted during normal admission processes each year.

JMC Centre for IGNOU

Jesus and Mary College is assigned as the study centre No 0713 for IGNOU.

The Centre provides counselling on Sunday between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm for the following courses:

• Bachelor of Arts
• Bachelor of Commerce
• B.T.S
• Master of Arts - English
• Master of Arts - Hindi
• Master of Arts - History
• Master of Arts - Sociology
• M.P.A.
• M.P.S.
• M.T.M.
• C.W.E.D

J&MC Centre for Non Collegiate Women Educational Board

There are two courses running at present for undergraduate degree as of 2014:

1.  B.A.

2.  B.Com.

These have the same structure of regular course of Delhi University.

The minimum attendance should be 66.6% for appearing in the exams.

The board conducts annual exams with the regular exams of Delhi University.

The only difference is that there is no internal assessment of 25% for non-collegiate students.

While pursuing any degree course at non-collegiate board students are not allowed to pursue another degree course from any University.

Teaching Process : Each paper (Except some B.Com Course papers) has to be taught within 50 lectures each of 55minutes. Classes are held on Saturdays and on the holidays of Delhi University i.e. autumn and Winter break vacations.

The process of admission at the Non Collegiate Board opens at the same time as that for regular students.
