CBSE board has the largest number of schools-nearly 15000 – affiliated with it.  CBSE have updated its affiliation process from 2005 by changing it into online way and thus information can be sent at any stage via electronic mail, making it more user-friendly.

As per a CBSE administrative official’s version, the main advantage with the board is that as it is a national board it allows parents to shift to anywhere in the country.

CBSE schools are spread all over the country with Delhi having the largest number of CBSE schools, followed by Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Kerala.

According to a report Maharashtra has witnessed 67% increase in number of CBSE schools in last 3 years and now the state has 500 institutes.

The updated syllabus with changing time along with successful implemented continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE) system is counted as the reason for pulling the crowds.
