Que. I have done my graduation and want to pursue my career in Banking? Can you help me to know the eligibility for Bank Exams in India?

Banks exams in India can be classified in two broad categories having different eligibility conditions as given below:

Eligibility for Bank Clerical Exam
The candidate should be between 18 to 28 yrs of age on the prescribed date of the exam year and have one of the following qualifications

Secured 60% marks in Matric/ Std.10th/ SSLC OR
50% marks in HSC/ Std.12th Intermediate/ Pre-university level OR
Pass in degree (any discipline) from a recognized university on  the prescribed date of the Bank Exam year.

Candidates should also possess proficiency in the official language of that state.

Eligibility for Bank PO Exam

The candidate should be between 20 to 30 yrs of Age and have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university (Please note that no specific percentage has been mentioned. Pass is the only criteria.)

Note: However eligibility condition may vary a bit from Bank to Bank.
