SSC CHSL 2018 Tier I Results declared

The Staff Service Commission (SSC) is all set to declare the results of Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier I examination 2018 today. All those candidates who have taken this exam can visit the official website i.e ssc.nic.in and follow the instructions given there to check their results.

The answer keys of the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2018 were released in the month of April. The commission conducted the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam from March 4 to 26 in different time slots.

SSC CHSL 2018 Selection Process

The selection process of SSC CHSL 2018 will consists of three phases as given below:

  • First stage: Computer-based examination; Total Marks: 200 marks; Negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer
  • Second stage: Descriptive paper; Total Marks: 100 marks; Pen-and-paper mode; Duration: One hour
  • Third Stage: Skill test or typing test

Tier II Examination 2018:

  • The candidates who will clear the Tier I examination would be called for the Tier II examination which is scheduled to be conducted on July 8.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established on November 4, 1975. The organisation works under the Government of India and recruits staff for several posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. It is headquartered in New Delhi. There are seven regional offices at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and two Sub-Regional Offices at Raipur and Chandigarh. Each regional office is headed by a Regional Director and each sub-regional office is headed by a Deputy-Director.
