Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is all set to release the result of GATE 2019 on 16th March 2019, for all 24 papers. The GATE 2019 exam was conducted on 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th February in 8 shifts.
All those candidates who have taken this exam can visit the official website and follow the instructions given there to check their results.
Steps to download the Score Card
Step 1: Visit official website i.e appsgate.iitm.ac.in
Step 2: Enter Enrollment ID / Email Address
Step 3: Enter your GOAPS password.
Step 4: Go to the Result tab.
Step 5: Check your GATE Result 2019 displayed on the website and Download the scorecard and take a print out for future references as No hard copies of the GATE Scorecards will be sent to the candidates.
The qualified candidates will be able to download their GATE 2019 scorecards from March 20 to May 31, 2019. If candidates fail to download their scorecard on or before 31 May 2019, then a late fee of Rs 500 will be collected to provide GATE 2019 Score Card.
The validity of GATE 2019
GATE 2019 score will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.
GATE score is used as the criteria for admission to M.Tech courses of IITs, IISc and other universities. It is also used as a criterion for recruitment in government organisations and national and state public sector undertakings in India.
