The JEE Main Result 2020 was released by the National Testing Agency yesterday i.e. September 11, 2020. Along with it the cut-off percentile for the JEE Advanced 2020 entrance test was released by the NTA.
Only those who clear the JEE Main 2020 will be allowed to register for the JEE Advanced 2020 entrance, which is conducted for candidates who are seeking admissions in the IITs in the country.
The cut off for the general category has been increased this year while the cut off percentiles for all other categories- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD)- have dropped.
The top 2.5 lakh students who cleared the JEE Main 2020 entrance test will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2020.

The JEE cut-off scores are calculated to the seventh decimal place to break the tie between candidates in these highly competitive exams. The JEE Main 2020 entrance was conducted from September 1 to 6, 2020 and the result was declared yesterday.
