IIT JEE Results 2012 on May 18

New Delhi: The results of the Indian Institutes of Technology - Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) 2012 will be declared on Friday May 18, 2012.

More than 5.6 lakh aspirants had appeared for IIT -JEE on April 8 this year for admission to nearly 9600 seats of the prestigious IITs and some other engineering institutes at 1,067 centers across the country.

The IIT-JEE question papers this year had questions worth 14 marks wrongly put up and the errors were spotted during the evaluation of the optical response sheets. The candidates, however, will be not be penalized for the error and out of the four questions that were wrongly printed, there will be zero marks for two questions, and no negative marking for the remaining two.
