G.P.Birla Educational Foundation Scholarship for 2018

G.P.Birla Educational Foundation has invited applications to grant Scholarships to meritorious students, male or female, from West Bengal.

Eligibility Conditions
Aspiring women candidates must have passed 12^th class in the year 2018 with 80% marks or more from State Board or 85% or more from Central Board and are in need of financial help to pursue further studies.

Further studies may be in any stream including Science, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Commerce, Law, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary ship and Cost Accountancy Course in any recognized University/Institution in India.

Scholarship Amount
Scholarship amount will be to cover Tuition Fees and Hostel Fees, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 50,000/- per student per year.

Number of Scholarships

The Scholarship will be granted to 100 selected students for one year at a time and to be continued upon satisfactory performance by the Student in the preceding year, as evaluated by the Trust, up to completion of the Course subject to a ceiling of 4 years, on yearly basis.

Additional onetime payment of Rs.7000/- towards purchase of Books in 1st Year shall also be given.

Selection Process
An Expert Panel of the Trust will review the applications received and interview shortlisted prospective candidates. The decision of the Expert Panel will be final.

How to apply?
Aspiring candidates can apply by forwarding their application letter through the Head of the Institution from which they have passed Class XII or where they have taken admission.

Students who meet the above criteria of merit, and need financial assistance for pursuing further studies, may apply in the prescribed Form, available in download section, by sending a completed application form along with enclosures to:-
