ONGC Scholarship 2020-21 to Meritorious Students

ONGC Scholarship to Meritorious Students is an initiative of the ONGC Foundation. The scholarship aims to financially support meritorious students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC and General Categories to pursue their higher studies.

Under this Scholarship, the students studying in the first year of Engineering, MBBS, MBA, or Master in Geophysics/ Geology program are provided with a scholarship of INR 48,000 per annum to complete their education.

(A) ONGC Foundation Scholarship Scheme for OBC Category Students 2020-21

Eligibility Conditions

Category

Belong to the OBC category

Educational Qualification

1st year graduate in Engineering or MBBS course or 1st year Master’s degree student in Geology/ Geophysics or MBA program
Have obtained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 12 for Engineering and MBBS courses and a minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in graduation for PG courses in Geophysics/ Geology and MBA

Note: The minimum CGPA should be 6.0 in 10 points scale of the grading system

Age Limit

Not be more than 30 years of age as of 1st July 2020

Other Conditions

Have a gross family income of less than INR 2 Lakhs per annum from all sources

Benefits

A total of 500 students will be selected under this scholarship program.
The selected scholars will get a lump sum amount of INR 4,000 per month, i.e., INR 48,000 per annum.

Eligibility Conditions

Educational Qualification

1st year of Graduate in Engineering or MBBS course or 1st year of Master’s Degree in Geology/ Geophysics or MBA program

Have obtained a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 12 for Engineering and MBBS courses and a minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in graduation for PG courses in Geophysics/ Geology and MBA

Note: The minimum CGPA/OGPA should be 6.0 in 10 points scale of the grading system

Age Limit

Not be more than 30 years of age as of 1st July 2020

Other Conditions

Be an Indian national studying in India only

Educational Qualification
