NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers - Pre-Matric 2021-22 is an initiative for the students of Class 1 to 10. The main objective of this scheme is to ensure that no child is working in any hazardous sector as labour.

Eligibility Conditions

The scholarship is open for the candidates who have passed the last examination on the first attempt and enrolled in Classes 1 to 10 at a government/government-recognized school. The candidates can avail the benefits only when one or both parents of the applicants should be working as a Beedi worker, Iron Ore, Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines (LSDM), Cine workers for at least last six months and the monthly income of the family is less than INR 10,000 from all the sources except in the case of Cine workers whose family income is less than INR 8,000 per month or INR 1,00,000 per annum.
