MAD School

The Manorama Arts & Design are considered to be one of the premiere Test Preparatory center for Design & Architecture in South India. MAD school Known for its high standards of teaching, Resources and Effective delivery mechanisms attract some of the best minds in the country both in faculty resources and design aspirants to shape and be shaped towards Rewarding Results. The MAD school was established in the year 2010, as an institute towards Design test preparation for NATA and JEE2 exams. Only one or two institutes had existed then. We had a modest beginning with just 15 students and 2 faculties, in rented school premises offering short-term courses. Growth came as a natural progression with more students successfully clearing exams and having seen placed themselves in some of the best universities in India. MAD has come a long way since its inception. Having trained more than 1500 number of students with consistent results year on year MAD school has come a full circle towards enriching students experience with OutReach, Consultation and Counselling services in providing End to End services for any an aspirant in the field of Architecture and Design.

Courses Offered

MAD School offers both long term and short terms courses towards Architect and Design test preparation. The coaching consists of classroom session towards maximum internalization and results. Training includes preparation for NIFT/NID/UCEED/CEED/NATA/JEE2/BFA/B.DES

The courses Include:-

• MAD PLUS: The program is a yearlong intensive coaching which is intended to give more time towards practice and understanding the Design fundamentals, process, and Principles. Progression happens in a time bound & structured manner facilitating students with a 2 tier approach as a foundation and advanced. The yearlong program ensures the students to progress at pace with realistic results without compromising their regular studies. Aspirants include students in 9th, 10th, 11 & 12th std. Post completion of this coaching shall equip candidates towards appearing for Architecture and Design Exams
• MAD (Short-term): The short-term exams are intended for students who would like to come in for a quick brush up. The program is arranged in 3 parts which include focusing on important topics, Mock test & Doubts clearing session. This would be a 30-45 days coaching with daily classes. The program is intended for candidates who target results improvement, failed to clear exams& last mile preparation.
• Portfolio preparation: A 30-day workshop intending to help you towards creating a well laid impressive collection of design that should capture and audience visual senses. A hands-on approach the workshop travels along with you from ideation to aesthetical representations of your sketches. Preparation includes meeting the criteria or demands of both Indian and International design institutes.
• Situation Test: The second round in NIFT which tests your ability towards the creative handling of Materials, your presentation skills, Aesthetic sense, Clarity of concept, Visualization skills. The 13-days workshop intended for students who have cleared the preliminary round of the NIFT exam.
• Studio Test: This 15 days intensive workshop prepares you for the 2nd round of NID challenge. The training includes hands-on approach working with different materials, improving your design sensitivity skills, the presence of mind and your audio & visual senses.

MAD Classroom

Well, with MAD school the traditional approach of a neatly stacked pre-colonial factory model of a view is redefined here. You shall get to see and feel organically bio fill spaces with enough room to walk around. Space manifests creativity, proactiveness with the familiar smell of pencil carbon and Eraser that tractions with paper at regular intervals. The sight would consist of loose sheets of paper containing half boiled creative ideas all thrown around. A familiar sight would consist of the regular interaction of students discussing ideas in various groups with teamwork and brainstorming session brewing all through the day. Classes are fully air-conditioned ensuring that you remain comfortable while ideas get dissipated and formed. Some of the other facilities at the campus include a lab for clay modeling & Design.

Delivery @ MAD School

Students understand and reciprocate only if he is able to internalize and understand the concept. Regular attendance of a candidate reflects the very core of this interest and understanding. The MAD School provides an individual experience of a coaching center and personal tuition. These accomplishments happen through faculty adorning the role of a Mentor than a mere teacher or an Instructor. The sessions precede any regular classroom sessions where our Mentors sole interest is supporting you improve your skill sets and learning than completion of topics on time. Roles twist very often at this juncture where the instructor becoming the instructed and vice versa. Tracking & Progress

Tracking the progress of a candidate is one of the most crucial towards any a training program. MAD school has developed a facility to track live on the academic progress of the student. This shall help many a parent and students alike towards their wards progress and correction. Live data on attendance, mock test results, and your wards works with faculty feedback of the candidate are available any time of the day. Improvements are adorned in the form of student/parent feedback and reflected upon towards continuous up gradation of our academic & student services. Parent-teacher meetings are also conducted at regular intervals.

MAD: RESEARCH & CONSULTANCY

Research is an integral part of any academic framework. This enhances learning and integrates any theoretical learning with practical application. The research and consultancy wing of MAD has been an active player in this regard and have been associated with Government and Multinational companies. MAD School passes on this learning to students in the form of a live internship and resource sharing. Compulsory internship for students who are preparing for Master’s program has been inculcated as the first step towards resource & knowledge sharing which is continued till date

RESOURCES @MAD School

Resources in the form of digital and print are one of the unique features of MAD School. Vast amounts of digital data which includes researched papers, case studies, and study materials are available to the candidate. A fantastic library containing documented voluminous collections of rare and books of impeccable authors are available to touch based on topics varying from basic sketching, exam preparation & general reading in the specified field. Students are permitted to avail these books for the purpose of reading and reference. A reading room is also available at the campus. Regular updates on the industry are published in the site and also shared in the form of WAZAPP and emails.

Associations @MAD School

Associations help in building a brand and spreading awareness and learning opportunities for both students and the institute. MAD School has several associations with leading design & Architecture colleges in India. Learning is passed on to the students of MAD through conducting regular workshops held in MAD school premises by eminent professionals in the Industry. These workshops are hands-on and cover sensitive topics that are keystone benefitting students to compete and crack and an exam for design & Architecture in India &Abroad thus creating an edge over others

Results

Any a training center relies on its results for survival. We do not claim tall while declaring the same. The results have been consistent with more than 55% students, MAD Jacks & Queens successfully clearing exam and placing themselves with some of the best universities in India and Abroad. Some of our results include 1 rank in the state for BFA, 5TH RANK in NIFT, 30th All India Rank in NATA etc.

Awards & Recognition

Awards or recognition pushes any an institute their vision to achieve further. MAD school with its impeccable services is not insulated. 2017 saw MAD School being recognized as the best coaching centre-Design Category, in South India by Education Review Magazine.

Hostels and Facilities

Facilitation towards hostel assistance is provided upon request. Hostels are available within walkable distance from the institute. The hostels are professionally managed. There are separate hostels for both girls and boys. Hostels are suggested based on the budget, and experience from past students. MAD school does not run any hostel on its own and the same is provided as a part of the service towards students in finding the right and affordable place to stay

MAD School is located at one of the busiest parts of the city in Panjagutta. With direct buses and metro connectivity to any part of the city reaching MAD becomes a breeze. The location includes hosts of other private and commercial landmarks which include The Hyderabad Central Mall, NIMS Hospital which are all at a walking distance from the institute. The location is adorned with Bus stops to all parts of the city. The location is further safe with a Police station nearby. The location is also adorned with food joints and the famous Meridian hotel for its biryani catering both veg and non-veg alike.
