BCA (Hons) or Bachelor of Computer Applications Honors is an Under-Graduate Information Technology course. As far as computer application is concerned it is application software that is designed to help the user to perform singular or multiple related specific tasks. Examples include enterprise software, accounting software, office suites, graphics software, and media players. The Bachelor of Computer Applications Honours program is a three to four years duration course divided into many semesters.

The Bachelor of Computer Applications Honors degree program is an educational program that is also being conducted by many private institutes on both a regular and distance basis. There is a minor difference between the syllabus of BCA and BCA (Hons).
