Diploma in Sanskrit is a Diploma level Sanskrit course. Sanskrit is a historical Indo-Aryan language and the primary liturgical language of Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. The chief purpose of the course is to provide the learner acquiring basic knowledge in Sanskrit language and the appropriate vocabulary for using it along with the knowledge of Sanskrit literature. The emphasis shall be on written and spoken expressions as well, to develop the elementary skills of the language i.e. listening, reading and writing.
