Fellowship in Cornea is a one-year postgraduate Ophthalmology programme. This is a one-year clinical fellowship equally weighted between anterior segment surgery, postoperative management, medical external disease and refractive surgery. Fellows participate directly in the medical and surgical management of a broad spectrum of medical corneal disorders including microbial keratitis, endophthalmitis, ocular surface disorders, and autoimmune keratopathies. The program provides broad exposure to both medical and surgical conditions of the anterior segment. Common surgical procedures include corneal transplantation, small incision cataract surgery, management of intraocular lens complications, anterior segment reconstructive surgery, keratoprostheses, stem cell transplants, dry eye, ocular surface reconstructive surgery, and refractive corneal surgery.
