M.Tech Instrumentation and Control Engineering or Master of Technology in Instrumentation and Control Engineering is a Post-Graduate Instrumentation Engineering course. It deals with the field of science or technology and covers one of the main subjects Instrumentation and Control Engineering. First, Instrumentation is defined as the art and science of measurement and control. An instrument is a device that measures and/or regulates physical quantity/process variables such as flow, temperature, level, or pressure. Second, control engineering or control systems engineering is the engineering discipline that applies control theory to design systems with predictable behaviors.

The duration of a Master of Technology in Instrumentation and Control Engineering is generally two years but it may vary from institute to institute and also maybe on a part-time basis by certain institutes. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters and two elective subjects.

M.Tech Instrumentation and Control Engineering Eligibility
