AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotechnology Entrance Exam 2023 - All India Institute of Medical Sciences  Master of Science / Master of Biotechnology Entrance Exam acronym as M.Sc / M.Biotechnology Entrance Exam is conducted by AIIMS to provide admission in M.Sc courses (given below) and M.Biotechnology courses.

AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotechnology Entrance Exam 2023 Eligibility 

Educational Qualification

For M.Sc

The candidate must possess one of the following qualifications and have secured at least 60% marks for General / OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC / ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination:

• MBBS / BDS (55% for General / OBC & 50% for SC / ST Categories)
• B.V.Sc
• B.Pharmacy
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (4½ year course)
• B.Sc degree of minimum three years duration in any subject.

Note:

• Candidates having a degree other than above are not eligible.
• The educational qualification for M.Sc Anatomy, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Physiology, Pharmacology, and M.Biotechnology is the same as those mentioned above except
  • (i) for Perfusion Technology
  • (ii) Nuclear Medicine Technology

Educational Qualification for (i) Perfusion Technology (ii) Nuclear Medicine Technology:

For Perfusion Technology:

• B.Sc with Biology (Botany & or Zoology) or
• B.Sc in Perfusion Technology from a recognized University.

For Nuclear Medicine Technology

• B.Sc degree courses in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized University. OR
• B.Sc degree in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics from a recognized University. OR
• B.Sc in allied/related subject i.e., Radio Diagnosis / Radiotherapy from a recognized University. OR
• B.Sc in Life Sciences with Physics as a subject from a recognized University.

For M.Biotechnology

Same as M.Sc courses except for two courses. Besides:

• B.Tech (Biotechnology) is also covered under eligibility criteria.

AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotechnology Entrance Exam 2023 Syllabus

AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotechnology Exam will consist of questions from the subject to which the candidates have applied. 

AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotechnology Entrance Exam 2023 Pattern

• The question paper for M.Sc / M.Biotechnology courses will be of 90 minutes duration consisting of 90 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 90 marks in the subject in which the candidates have applied. 
• There shall be a uniform minimum cut-off of 50% marks (for all PG Courses) in the competitive entrance test as a condition of eligibility for all candidates.

AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotechnology Entrance 2023 Exam Dates

AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotech Entrance Exam is normally held in the month of June/July.

How to apply for AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotech Entrance Exam 2023? 

• Candidates seeking admission to the Entrance Examination are required to submit his/her application in the prescribed format available online with the Prospectus on www.aiimsexams.org.
• The cost of the Application Form includes the fee for the entrance examination which is non-refundable and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Procedure:  After selecting the online registration, fill in the details asked for, step by step, and deposit the prescribed fee in the designated Bank through a Challan or debit/credit card  No candidates should register more than one application.

Note: A candidate is allowed to submit a separate application for M.Sc. and M. Biotechnology courses.

AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotech Entrance Exam 2023 Fees

• AIIMS Entrance Exam Fee is Rs. 1000/-
• SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 800/- as application fee

AIIMS M.Sc / M.Biotech Entrance Exam is held in Delhi Only.
