Bihar PCS Exam 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

• Aspiring candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university board.

Age Limit

• The age as of 1st August 2020 on a minimum basis should be 20 years, 21 years, 22 years and 37 years for unreserved males on a maximum basis.
• Unreserved Women & Backward Class and Extreme Backward Class (Male & Female) - 40 years SC / ST (male & female) - 42 years.

BPSC conducts the Combined Competitive Examination in three phases:

A. Preliminary Exam Pattern

• The preliminary exam will be conducted in offline (pen and paper) mode.
• The General Studies paper comprises Objective Type and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with a total of 150 marks.

The Main exam consists of 4 papers as follows:

• The list of candidates who qualify for the Main examination is published on the official website.
• These candidates are called for the interview round.
• The final merit list is prepared after considering the marks of the main exam and interview round.
