- Part B - Code of Criminal Procedure, Indian Penal Code, Indian Evidence Act
- Part C - Reasoning and Mental Ability, Constitution of India, Legal GK
Mains:
Paper-I
- English Grammar, General Essays (two), Translation of Malayalam Depositions/Documents to English and vice-versa, Precis writing.
Paper-II
- Part A: Indian Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, Limitation Act, Specific Relief Act, Easements Act, Kerala Building (Lease and Rent Control) Act, Hindu Succession Act, Indian Succession Act - Parts V, VI & X, Dissolution of Muslim Marriage Act.

Kerala Judicial Service Exam 2024 Pattern
The exam pattern for Prelims and Main will go in the following way.
Prelims
- There will be objective type multiple-choice types of questions.
- There will be 100 questions carrying 2 marks each.
- The duration will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Mains
- It will comprise a written examination and interview.
- There will be four papers with 100 marks each.
- The duration will be three hours for each paper.
