Maharashtra M.Ed CET 2024 - Maharashtra Master of Education Common Entrance Test acronym MAH M.Ed CET is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra for admission to Master of Education (M.Ed.) in the Government, Govt. Aided, Govt. Aided Minority, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided and Unaided Minority Institutions in the Maharashtra State.

Maharashtra M.Ed CET 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

• Aspiring Candidates should have passed B.A B.Ed, B.A, B.Sc B.Ed (Integrated), Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• 50% aggregate marks are required for General / OBC category candidates
• And, for SC / ST category candidates the qualifying aggregate marks are 45%

Note: Students who appeared in the final year of graduation can also apply for the CET entrance test.

M.Ed CET Exam consists of questions from the following subjects such as given below.

Educational Philosophy: Idealism, Realism, Naturalism, and Pragmatism. Philosophers: Rabindranath Tagore, Mahatma Gandhi, Mahatma Phule, Rousseau, John Dewey, and Plato.

Educational Sociology: Education as an instrument of Change, Globalization, Modernization, National Integration, Value Education, Women Empowerment and Inclusive Education

• Educational Psychology: Personality, Intelligence, Theories of Learning, Mental Health, Social Psychology, Models of Teaching, Constructivism, Guidance, and Counselling (Concept).

• Educational Evaluation: Concept, Types, Techniques, Methods, Taxonomy of Objectives

• Educational Statistics: Measures of Central Tendency and Measures of Variability 

• School Administration & Management: Kothari Commission, National Educational Polity, National Knowledge Commission, School Administration and Management, Current Events, Right to Education, Law regarding Education, Indian Education System and Educational Problems, Secondary School Code.

• Information and Communication Technology & Research Aptitude: Use of Computers in Education (with reference to Teaching, Learning, Evaluation, and Administration) and Research Aptitude

Maharashtra M.Ed CET 2024 Pattern

Maharashtra M.Ed CET exam comprises objective type multiple choice questions from the following below given topics.

The medium for M.Ed CET will be English and Marathi languages only.

Note: There is No Negative Marking for incorrect response i.e., the 1-mark deduction for 1 incorrect reply.
