NHTET 2024 - National Hospitality Teacher Eligibility Test acronym as NHTET is conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology to decide the eligibility to apply for the direct recruitment to the post of:

Assistant Lecturer

Teaching Associates

in all 65 IHMs and FCIs functioning under the umbrella of the Council, either the institute is sponsored by the Central Government,  State Government, PSUs, or Private, since it made them part of affiliation regulation now.

NHTET Exam 2024 Eligibility 

Educational Qualification

  • Aspiring candidates should have a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/Hotel Management after the 10+2 from a recognized university with at least 60% marks with at least 2 years of industry experience after obtaining a degree.

OR

  • Full-time Master’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management after a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Administration/ Hotel Management from a recognized University with at least 60% marks either in Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

Note: Candidates appearing in the final semester/final year exam of the master’s degree and have passed all subjects of the previous year's semester, can also apply.

Age limits: Applicants should be born on or after the following dates.

General Category should be on 31st December 1989

OBC category should be on 31st December 1986 SC / ST and PD category should be on 31st December 1984

NHTET consists of 200 objectives multiple-choice types of questions to be completed in the 4 Hrs. time as given below:
