RMS Common Entrance Test 2025 - Rashtriya Military Schools Common Entrance Test acronym RMC CET is conducted by the organizing authority. The Rashtriya Military Schools are administrated by the Directorate General of Military Training at IHQ of MOD (Army). The Defence Secretary, Ministry of Defence is the apex body for these schools. The CET is held for admission to class VI and IX classes. Rashtriya Military Schools are fully residential public schools and affiliated with CBSE.

Educational Qualifications

• For Class VI - Aspiring candidates should have completed the 5th class from a recognized school before the date of admission to a Rashtriya military school.

Note: Students studying in Class 5th can appear in the respective Entrance Test.

They need to fulfill all the criteria.

• For Class IX - Aspiring candidates should have completed the 8th class from a recognized school board. 

Age Limits

The age limits as of 01 July the academic year are as follows:

• For class 6th - 10 to 11 years
• For class 9th - 13 to 14 years

Note: 6 months of relaxation is permissible for the wars of personnel killed in action.

RMS Common Entrance Test 2025 Syllabus

The CET consists of questions from the following subjects.

For 6th Class: The CET comprises MCQs from the qualifying exam i.e., 5th standard.

Interview: The written test is followed by an interview.

Reservations: The reserved seats for wards of service personnel killed in Action are 50.

Note: 15% and 7.5% of seats are reserved for SC and ST in all categories.
