Academy of Aviation, Engineering & Technology(AAET), Visakhapatnam was established as a result of a Consortium established by top notch professionals from Aeronautical Industry and Air-Force, Consultancy & Industrial background. All the courses offered by the Institute are recognized by Government of India. The Institute offers few specified courses to cover the Aviation Industry spectrum of Industrial aspects and are recognized by Technical Education Board & Industries and are real job oriented courses giving importance to knowledge based working in the important field of engineering. The Institute organises Extra classes to the students who are found to be lagging in the subject. The reports regularly are thereby intimated to the parent. Parent meets are arranged from time to time so as the parent can know the fast developments of the student (and individual performance). Academy of Aviation (AA) offers the Professional Training/Coaching to the students for the associates membership examination conducted by AeSI, IETE, IME(I) & IE(I) approved by AICTE, Govt. of India at par with B.E, B.Tech in the given branches, which are well known for their real worth.

Facilities

Hostel - Hostel Facility is available for out-station students. Separate modern and well-equipped hostels for men and women are available. Well furnished rooms, spacious mess hall, dormitory type rooms, special security arrangements and so on make the hostel life very pleasant for the students. Sports facilities TV and internet are also planned for relaxation of hostel students. As the Institute provides the hostel accommodation for out -station students keeping their convenience into consideration, no claim shall be entertained in allotting accommodation.

Library - The Library has immense collections of reference books the student can avail all facilities in the Library. The Library is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and all students are expected to utilize the Library resources well. For any kind of updates subjectively, the student has enough stuff to load viz., News, Magazines, Journals, Industrial Updates, Industrial Portals, Current Affairs, Latest technology Releases, etc., which are 90 plus for making the student aware of Current Updates.

Modern Teaching Aids - The Institute provides Teaching Aids to the student which enrich the students' concentration on to their academics. Audio / Visual Aids viz., Over Head Projectors, Audio and all modernized systems are utilized to take up the Theory classes. Audio visual section of the college Library consists of good number of CD-ROM Diskettes, Floppies and Cassettes. These help students to improve their communication skills and prepare for the competitive exams with relevant industries and examinations like TOFEL, GRE etc.

Modern Computer and Engineering Labs - The Academy has a well-equipped Computer, Electronics and Engineering Lab, provided to student for taking all practical trainings. The whole set-up on practical sessions are designed as per the requirement.

Technical Tours / Updates - In order to make the Students aware of the spread ability of the Vast Industrial Infrastructure of India, Technical Tours are arranged by the institution. Other than the Practical programs and Industrial Visits, these Technical tours shall make the student more aware of the subject practically and technically.

Industrial Visits - Regular Industrial Visits are arranged from the Institution's end for letting the student have the Exposure over present technology. These programs do vitalize the students' visualization over subject through practical visits with various industries. All the students shall take their technical clarifications at any point of time from the Technical people from different the industries, from the Guest faculties and their respective faculties.

Training and Placement - The Academy organises an active Training and Placement is planned in the Institution under the guidance of  Dean (Engineering Studies) by the completion of a term of the students.The main function of this Cell is to arrange for On-Campus & Off-Campus interviews for the students after giving sufficient training, Mock interviews and aptitude test are conducted in order to train the students. Apart from this, the Cell arranges for industrial visits, in-plant training, seminars, guest lectures, and industry-institute interaction etc. 100% placement assistance will be provided to the students by this Cell.
