Royal College of Medical Science, an ISO 9001-2008 certified institution was established in the year 2023 under NL IMPERIAL RESEARCH CENTER FOUNDATION established 2014 with an aim to be a prime contributor towards moulding professionals for the future. The college is Affiliated to Health Department Govt. of Bihar and recognized by Bihar Nurses Registration Council, Patna (Bihar) and Government of Bihar. The college of nursing is located at Mohani (Kasba, Purina) in an area of 5 Acres. The college is a leading provider for quality nursing courses and offers a vibrant range of nursing program with a long standing reputation for excellence.

AIMS

• To build upon the skills and competencies acquired at the diploma in nursing level.
• To provide an educational programme through which the graduates will be prepared to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of the people as professional nurses.
• To upgrade the critical thinking skills competencies and standard required for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery.
• To develop excellence in nursing with a view to generate new innovative approaches in health care system.
• To assume the role of teachers, supervisors and managers in clinical and public health settings
• To facilitate in conducting research studies in the area of nursing practice.

OBJECTIVES

1. Demonstrate competency in nursing skill.
2. Participate as members of health team in the preventive, curative and restorative health care delivery system of the country.
3. Access health status and identify nursing needs, plan and implement and evaluate nursing care for patients that contribute to health of individuals, families and communities.
4. Demonstrate leadership qualities and decision making abilities in various situations.

7. Practice ethical values in their professional and personal life.
8. Demonstrate skills in teaching, management, interpersonal relations and communication.
