Gandhinagar University Institute of Design (GIOD), a premier constituent of Gandhinagar University, is dedicated to offering world-class education in design disciplines. Located in the Moti Bhoyan, well-connected Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar region, GIOD provides an innovative and student-centric approach to design education, aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The institute nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and design skills while equipping students to meet the dynamic needs of global design industries. The institute offers 6 courses at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate level. Some of the popular courses offered by the college include Diploma, B.Des and M.Des etc. Gandhinagar University admission is based on either merit or entrance exam scores. For admission, the application form will be released by December 2024. Regarding GIOD placements, around 2000+ students were placed last year in 100+ top-tier companies. Some of the top recruiters who visit the campus for placements include TCS, JSW Ispat Steel, Infosys, Indusind Bank, IBM, HDFC Bank, EInfochips, Cipla, etc.

Admission Process
