IMS Group of Institutions based at Ghaziabad, was founded in 1990 by a group of visionaries and intellectuals to impart quality education. the group has promoted education in the areas of Management Sciences, Tourism, Information Technology, Bio-Science and Engineering Sciences with almost 2000 students and three educational campuses equipped with state of art infrastructure. The two–year full time Post- Graduate Diploma in Management Programme has been accredited the MBA –Equivalent Status by the ‘National Board of Accreditation’. Currently IMS Ghaziabad offers PGDM, PGDM-I.T (Information Technology), PGDM-MM (Marketing Management), PGDM-TM (Tourism Management) and M.C.A courses.
Facilities
Lecture Rooms - Well-furnished air-conditioned spacious classrooms and lecture halls gives the future managers and technocrats a focused arena to develop their personalities. The latest audio-visual aids and multimedia technology enables the faculty members to have interactive sessions of teaching, which adds confidence and enthusiasm among our students.
Hostels - A well furnished and aesthetically designed hostel with separate wings for boys and girls has been constructed with a view to provide best possible facilities to the students, at Adhyatmic Nagar, Delhi Hapur Road, NH-24, Dasna, Ghaziabad. Lush green lawns with an eco-friendly environment surrounds the hostel. For leisure and recreation, both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are made available in the hostel. A well-equipped gymnasium helps the students to keep fit on a activity packed day at the institute. Access to library and Internet facilities are also made available to students. The hostel also provides hygienic meals, laundry and ironing facilities, round the clock transport facility, a PCO with STD and ISD facility which gives students a homely as well as a professional atmosphere. Estimated cost of Boarding and Lodging in Hostels. Rs. 65,000/- per year (including Boarding, Lodging & Mess facility, cost is subject to change) .
IMS Library - It is fully air conditioned and has a collection of over 26,000 books related to management IT and allied subjects. The Library holds a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, CDs/DVDs, e-journals, reports, case studies, conference proceeding, training manuals, etc. The Library subscribes to 200 print journals specific to the academic and research needs of the IMS community. Besides, there are over 240 e-journals available in full-text through the online databases subscribed by the library. The electronic library includes databases such as CMIE’s Prowess, Business Beacon and DELNET online journals, Emerald, ICFAI University press. The library also holds a collection of case studies, annual reports of companies, etc., in the area of management and related subjects.
Computer Centre - IMS has a state of art computing facility consisting of 400 computers installed in eight Labs and approx 50 computers for teaching faculty and 25 for administrative staff to execute their duties in a well manner. Five Server are installed in campus; IBM Pentium based X3400 series servers, 2 HCL Net Manager and One IBM based Exchange Server and Apple Mac Pro connected to a high speed 2 MBPS VSNL Fibre Optic Lease Line. The network is distributed with the help of different OS: Windows Server 2003, Windows XP and Red Hat Linux environment. A total Application software like MS Office 2007,MS Project, Business Beacon, Prowess, SPSS 16.0, SQL Server & IBM Rational Rose are extensively used. Facilities for Scanning & printing include high speed Laser Jet Network printers. The Campus Network is protected using Windows ISA Server 2006 based Firewall and bandwidth management tools. Email virus protection is provided through Symantec Antivirus, Corporate Edition. An academic alliance with Microsoft for all software’s products from Microsoft is also registered as an educational campus agreement. Total 10 MBPS Internet lease line has been installed in IMS Hostel and network connectivity provided through Wi-Fi. (Wireless Fidelity) device by the Netgear brand network products. A Hardware firewall model 310B by the renowned name in security system FORTIGATE is also installed to release the bandwidth without Viruses, Trojan, Malware and Spyware for students. The computer wide network optical fiber backbone and structured cabling provides intranet as well as internet connectivity between/to all computers with faculty, students, PGDM/PGDM-MM/PGDM-TM/PGDM-IT academic block, administration, MDP rooms and Hostels. Assessment software for grading, course registration, faculty feedback, attendance in class, conducting online evaluations, etc. has also been installed on the network. This can be selectively accessed by authorized Sections of IMS community. An e-Learning On-Line module is being used by the Faculty to provide Learning Notes, exercises, assignments and conduct Quizzes.
Personal & Professional skill programme - In today's world, academic knowledge alone is not sufficient to grow and excel in life. It is no longer possible to get a job or an admission just on the basis of an entrance test. Each of these processes are followed by either a group Discussion or a Personal Interview, or both. Therefore one not only has to be technically and academically sound but also proficient in other personality fronts. The PPSP module aims to make the students more confident, assertive, and aware of themselves and their surroundings. This will help them emerge smarter and more dynamic individuals. The following and a few other factors are taken into consideration while conducting these classes; self-awareness, General Awareness, IQ, EQ, Social Skills, Presentation Skills, Creativity, Communication Skills, Positive Attitude etc. Thus the PPSP module provides a platform to the students to start improving on this ever evolving phenomenon called personality.
Corporate Resource Centre - The Corporate Resource Centre acts as an interface between the students, faculty and the corporate world. It consists of a team of highly experienced industry professionals who guide in organizing various events, MDP's, guest lectures, seminars and consultancy. CRC enjoys the supports from renowned management association such as AIMA, FICCI, CII, DMA, NMA and National HRD Network. Corporate Resource centre is responsible for conducting various events like MDP's Guest lectures, Seminar, Consultancy for Executive Development Programmes, Industry Visits, Corporate get-togethers, Event Management, Research and Resource sharing and Networking.
Placement Strategy - The Academic pedagogy of the course curriculum is made complete through placement strategy that introduces them to the corporate world environment. Under the aegis of IMS's CRC, various Management events are conducted to develop the all round personality of students by making them personally and professionally updated for the corporate requirements. CRC broadly conducts the placement activities wherein it covers Pre-Placement Talks, 6 months project work and Final Placement. In fact, the Institute continues to maintain a consistent placement record since its inception.

Scholarship and Fee Waiver - Scholarship is to be granted to the rank holders annually.
Conferences and Seminars - IMS has been actively involved in promoting management excellence by organizing and being an academic partner to various national management events conducted by AIMA, DMA, National HRD Network etc. The faculty members and students have been benefited immensely by participating in these events.
MDP's - The Management Development Programmes at IMS helps individuals and their organizations master the challenges of today's business and macroeconomic environments. The finest faculty and business leaders conduct these programmes. For promising managers who want to brace their leadership ability and manage their business more successfully there are select programmes on offer in Information Technology Management, Skills And Strategy Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour etc.
Banking Facility - An extension counter of Oriental Bank of Commerce is situated within the campus.
Auditorium - A fully air conditioned auditorium has the capacity of seating 400 people at a time. It is equipped with latest audio-visual system which enhances the effect of conferences, seminars, symposiums and other cultural events.
Cafeteria - The enthusiasm source of energy" and is provided to the students from a well-designed and facilitated cafeteria, which is situated on the campus.
