The Mai Bhago College of Education (girls) Ralla, Mansa runs by the Punjabi Educational Society Regd. Ralla (Mansa). This society has been registered under registration act XXI of 1860 and Registration no. 650. Mai Bhago College of Education (girls), Ralla established in the year 2008 is recognized by NCTE, Jaipur and is affiliated to Punjabi University Patiala. Modern era is the era of science, technology and progress. Globalization has extended the wings of education. We are still unaware of methodologies being used by the western countries. Today the education should aims not only the teaching of 3R’s (Reading, Writing and Arithmetic) and 4H’s (Head, Heart, Health, Home) rather the overall personality development of students. The education should aim at overall personality development and to teach each and every sphere of human life. By keeping this principle in mind, we established “Punjabi Educational Society“ and assure you that we will try our best to provide excellence in the field of education and knowledge.

AIMS and Objectives

 

The educational system in India is passing through very pitiable conditions, it is high time to reform and improve the system. It is, therefore, desired that the training aspect of the educational system be improved that is the system should produce good teachers. Keeping in view the same, the college has the following aims and objectives:

• To produce ideal teachers.
• To acquaint the teachers with modern methodologies of teaching.
• To acquire the knowledge of technology.
• To acquaint the trainers with models of teaching.
• To fill the sense of nationality in the trainers.
• To help to acquire commitment to the teaching profession.
• To produce teachers to create awareness among students about health education, population education & environment education.
• To create among trainers the feeling to develop social, aesthetic and moral values etc.

College Campus

 

Mai Bhago College of Education is spread over more than 5 acres of lush green picturesque beauty creating an environment to heighten the spirit of all learners and inspire them to optimize their learning efforts. The campus comprises of smart building with well equipped modern labs (Science Lab and Psychology Lab) and an intellectually stocked library.

 

Library

The library is well furnished and has an extensive collection of books and is augmented on continuous bases. It has reading hall with 100 students sitting capacity. It subscribes journals, Periodical magazines and newspapers. It has also a collection of computer magazines. It provides quality services to the students as well as faculty members for fulfilling the mission of institution of being an excellence.

 

Lecture Theatre

 

Each Lecturer Theatre is having more than 600 sq. ft. of carpet area, a black board and a lecture stand and is well ventilated.

 

Computer Lab

 

The college has two computer laboratories equipped with 25 computers of latest technology and advanced electronic gadgets. The labs are connected with internet connection, LCD projector, scanners etc

 

Psychology Lab

 

The college has well organized psychology lab. The lab is equipped with devices for conducting well defined psychology test.

 

Science Lab

 

The college has a well equipped laboratory of biology, chemistry and physics. There is a well experienced full time lab assistant to see the student’s needs and to assist them.

 

Education Technology Lab

The college has modern education technology lab with capacity of 100 students and is equipped with modern electronic equipments. It is ready to use with latest computers with internet facility, slide projectors, LCD projectors, VCR, TV, and other technologies, on disposal for students to have experience with them.

 

Language Lab

 

The college has modern language lab to improve communication skills in English. It facilitates a broad range of activities like reading, listening, speaking and writing. The lab is equipped with language lab equipments and audio, video, listening and recording systems to make the pupils well acquitted with well versed in all round use of language.

 

Sports Room and Facilities

 

The college is well equipped with modern facilities sports room and has well maintained Kho-Kho, Athletics, VolleyBall playgrounds, Gesthetical lard lawn with ornamental trees and spacious playground add to the picturesque beauty of the college.

 

Seminar Halls

 

The college has two seminar halls having the capacity of 200 people. It is equipped with proper sound system. Experts are involved to give the seminar on prominent topics to the students.

 

Canteen

 

A spacious and hygienic canteen with proper sitting arrangements in pleasant environment is situated in the campus and serves variety of eatables.

 

Transport Facility

As the students come from the surrounding areas, for the purpose, college owns 10 buses to provide transportation facility to its students.

 

Medical Facility

 

The college provides professional medical services. The college counsels on health issues like balanced diet, ill effects of drugs, causes and remedies of stress etc. on regular basis.

 

Security

 

Since this is a girl institution, therefore, round o'clock security is being provided to the girl students during their stay at the college by renowned security group named “Orbit Security”. Orbit Security Group has arranged for 24 hours security in the college premises.
