N.S. Patel Arts College, Anand is Awarded ‘College with Potential for Excellence’ by UGC, New Delhi. It was established in the year 1970 with generous donation by Late Shree Naranbhai Shankarbhai Patel. The Primary objective of the institution was to provide value based education to girls of surrounding area. As keeping in mind the need of the hour Higher Education was thought about and Co-education was introduced in the college in the year 1976.

The college is managed by Sardar Patel Education Trust, Anand (SPET). SPET is dedicated to provide value based education to the knowledge seeking youth under the leadership of Shree Bhikhubhai Naranbhai Patel as a Managing Trustee-Secretary.

The college is affiliated to Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. The college offer distance mode education in association with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, Ahmedabad. The college is also affilieted to Shree Somnath Sanskrit University, Veraval. 

A good amalgamation of courses is offered to the students that can inculcate positive values among the youth along with the competences to encounter the employment demands of global market. Commitment of the college towards national development is reflected in the activities of the college carried out throughout the process of imparting education to the students.

The state of Perfection is the lifelong process; excellent efforts can facilitate the process to achieve perfection. In imparting education we put our excellent efforts to bring quality in higher education. 

As the life for a student is full of challenges in this fast growing world, they need to face them at every turn and develop the appropriate skills to self sustain and development. We aim to give the best education, a new dimension by blending our strong Indian Traditions and Values with advanced tools of modern technology to prepare our student to excel in the journey with greater success. 

The technique we practice; impart world class education that fosters excellence, physical fitness, psychological and spiritual health, a consciousness of social obligations and concern for environment, in each student. We take pride in nurturing a rich Indian heritage and culture in them which helps them to grow up to be open minded individuals who respect the culture of people from other parts of the world.

We aspire to mould holistically healthy youth, we have ensured that our curriculum is enriched with value-based education. But being in the field of education, it is of paramount importance that we are at par with the latest and the best of educational practices followed worldwide, be it various curricula, in order to transform our students into world players who can find their safe place to exist in.

We have been putting our best efforts to achieve high standards in education.
