About Academy of Aviation and Engineering

Academy of Aviation & Engineering is a Technical Institute run by Sha-shib Minority Welfare and Educational Society. It is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, (Govt. of India) for Three Years course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at Bangalore Centre. Training is based as per the DGCA syllabus. The training programme for the course designed is specifically to meet the needs for employment & professional advancement in dynamic & rapidly growing field of Aviation.

The Institute is having its own building situated at 38-39, Prestige Enclave, Bettahalasur Cross, 3 Km. after Yelahanka Air-force Station, B.B. Road, NH-7, Bangalore North (Karnataka)

Facilities

Hostel & Mess Facility - The Institute provides Hostel accommodation to the students coming from outstation. For female students there is a separate provision for Hostel accommodation. The Institute provides with a study table, a cot, a tube light, bulbs etc. The Hostel fees has to be deposited at a lump-sum for one year (only lodging charges). The Mess is be fully managed & shared by the students. Students are liable to pay the actual cost of their share. In the Annual Hostel Fee Mess charges is not included. Hostel and Mess are compulsory for Outstation candidates.

Library Facilities - The Academy has an enriched Library especially in the sphere of Technology & Engineering. The Academy also provides Audio / Video facilities for the better understanding of the subjects.

Foreign Students - To review study people from foreign countries and other such candidates nominated by the Government of India for admission against reserved seats under the various scholarship schemes are eligible for admission if they satisfy prescribed minimum qualification subject to a maximum of 5 seats. Such self financing Foreign Students whose application are endorsed by the Government of India will be exempted from tests subject to their fulfilling the prescribed eligibility condition. Either they should apply direct or through the mission of their Respective countries in India. No such an application can be entertained unless it is endorsed by Govt. of India.
